OKO ring

This handmade ring was inspired by mythology. The item is a stylization of the eye symbol. Various world religions use this symbol.

In ancient Egyptian mythology, this is Wadget (Ujat, also the eye of Horus) — a powerful amulet worn by the pharaohs. The Greeks call the symbol Apollo or the Eye of Jupiter. For the Indians, the amulet personifies the Great Spirit, which, thus, observes their actions and is able to punish for wrong behavior. In Buddhism, the symbol carries great wisdom and enlightenment. It helps to abandon everyday life and embark on the path of perfection and spiritual development. The amulet is also of particular importance in Scandinavian mythology. It is believed that Odin gave his eye to drink from the source of wisdom.
